Hi, I'm Luca and I'm 30 years old.
I grew up in Pisa (yes, the city with the leaning tower) with my mother and my two elder sisters. People always told me how much creative I was. I remember lots of afternoons as a child while I was drawing characters in notebooks and made up some stories. In high school I drew a cartoon with my classmates and teachers as main characters and I used to show it to my classmates during the lessons (shh, it's a secret don't tell it to our teachers!). I started acting in 2006 and in 2011 I started an Improv Acting course.
After high school I faced some family problems and I couldn't finish University so I started working. I did a lot of small jobs in order to help my family and then in 2021 I joined Decathlon family as Sales Associate.
I created the Facebook page in my first store (Pisa) and I have distinguished myself for my creative attitude and my hard working profile. I made my career very quickly: in 2014 I became Department and Communication Manager and I moved to Florence (yes, renaissance and all other things like that).
In 2016 I became HR site leader and in 2019 Area Personnel Administration Specialist (HR Professional). HR experience was amazing for me even if in those years I put aside my creative streak in some way.
The pandemic has hit very hard in Italy and HR have been at the forefront (from home) to work for the well-being of employees. I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to spend more time at home to study graphic and web design and recover an old passion of mine.
In the last year I achieved one of my greatest goals: I was able to combine the passion for HR with the passion for the world of creativity and I created a website for all HR which I called "Vademecum" (I'm Italian, of course I chose a latin word).
The purpose of the site, was to teach my colleagues what-to-do and how-to-do.
Do you wanna know more about myself? Please contact me in the "contact" page or follow me on those social media.
Have a great one, take care.
